Thes issue is your priorities were wrong, investing in land while not paying your student loans???

If you want to invest with GC because he's GC then that's another story and there's nothing wrong with it. 

Think of all the things that could go wrong and see if the lease addresses them: unauthorized pets or tenants, early termination, security deposit, lease violations, late rent, eviction, lawn maintenance, parking, etc.5.

@Tom Gimer, I understand that, I think the closing attorney did something wrong in this case.

Use a reputable title company, attorney etc. and no large cash transactions above $500   FYI  LORD forbid If something were to go really wrong in that sort of scenario/cash exchange.

Am I wrong in believe that there shouldn’t be a problem?

Clearly I put trust in the wrong person and hence why I let go of him.

I was wondering if there was anyone from my area or anyone who has gone through a similar situation who could tell me what Im doing wrong to fix this situation.

Personally, I have good credit, but if the LLC is new, the bank don't look at your credit (pls correct me if I am wrong); and therefore will not lend me money.Is buying under your personal name and quitclaiming to the LLC the only way? 

Please correct me if I’m wrong, so the idea is to gain experience and knowledge from this paid walk with GC so we get the ballpark numbers and make offers in future without having to involve a GC anymore in the analysis.At what point in the process do you officially have your GC involved?
