People are animals.

Meanwhile, the tax laws favor those that rent out real estate, such that you may pay no taxes.Development is a completely different animal from flipping, but if you build & sell, it still is not as tax favored as buy & hold.

I think the skills learned in BRRRR of SFH generally do not transfer well to what is an entirely different animal.

Are they respectful of the property and neighbors, or do they live like animals?  

Court these days are protecting the occupants with equal housing, health, safety, and service animal laws.

It's a different animal than real estate.

So I cannot do as Michael suggests (neither can he, with any tenant over 62.)All that said, while I am very pro-pet, 4 animals for a renter is a concern to me.  

After speaking to Animal Control, I instructed the tenant that I was told she would have to be the one to call to complain before Animal Control could do anything.
