Hey everyone,I've recently joined BP and just wanted to introduce myself.My names Evan and I'm a junior in college majoring in business and German, with a minor in Econ.My first goal is to purchase a 4 unit multi-family property in the greater Boston area at the end of 2019.My overall goal is to purchase 20 rental properties within 20 years (after my first).I plan on acquiring as much knowledge on RE as I can get my hands on, as well as meeting the right people to make deals with.

I always smile that when its a bad market the big dogs are out flipping to earn and once its a high market they are out selling courses and mentor programs for the newbies.

I want to be smart about what I give to and when, but I want have the freedom because of real estate investing to be able to give generously to people and causes that will matter long after I'm gone. 3) I'd love to be able to transition eventually from a 9-5 job so that I can spend more time investing in my family, being a mentor to folks that have been placed in my life, writing, serving my community in/with my church.

My experience working with lenders recently suggests that they are aware of this and understand that the borrower has sold/transferred the property and isn't going to be submitting any hardship documentation or listing the property with an agent.This issue also applies to those bidding on junior liens at foreclosure sale.

I have been employed in the oil and gas industry for the past 15 years and I'm currently stationed and writing from Angola, West Africa, and I feel like now is the right time to transition to REI.I have tried to educate myself as much as possible for the past couple of years on everything REI (fix n flip, fix n rent, wholesaling etc..)and continue doing so today.I have never done a flip before and I am hoping to network and meet someone locally that is willing to Partner/Mentor with me for my first flip.

Also, I would love to have somebody in the business of flipping homes in my area, that would be willing to be my mentor.I'm very committed and hardworking person and could also benefit my mentor with my knowledge and contacts in the construction industry.
