As a new landlord what tips or advice does anyone experienced have that I might use

Like weird, you've never experienced in your 16 years of being alive, but don't be scared, you will be able to handle it and learn from those experiences when the time comes. 

An experienced bank will have plenty referrals.

Some exceptions can be made with some very experienced developers that have been doing it for many decades and projects.5 years is just not enough time on the primary lease term.

For example, just looked at a listing with an experienced agent.

Personally I don’t have this issue as I am both and have my own crews so I have the best of both worlds and even with that problems arise on a weekly basis that need attention.I think the happy medium is an experienced project manager to act as the liaison between the two parties.

I look forward to learning as much as I can and finding ways to get more experienced!

Hey everyone,I wanted to post and see if anyone who’s more experienced than myself can help me understand rough estimates for painting, drywall repairs and cleaning costs for a rental on the west side of Cleveland.To give some general information, there’s some dry wall cracks, painting of the entire interior which is 850 square feet and deep cleaning of the entire interior since the former tenants left behind a fair amount of food and broken furniture.

In this time span I am doing flips and saving from my current professional career.In this 1-2 year timeline we would we would meet on a consistent basis and develop a solid plan of action to acquire these syndication deals.At this point I would like to connect with people and see if our interests align and if we could work well together.I currently have interest from several people that have either an extensive finance background or have many properties in their portfolio already.I currently have no deals in my portfolio but what I bring to the table is experience in building websites, marketing (specifically search engine optimization), good financial understanding, and a great ambition to succeed in real estate.If this is something that interests you please message me for more information or to ask any questions.
