Those materials are outdated and come from someone who hasn't wholesaled in year, if ever.They all tell you to do the same stuff with a slight variation - letters, yellow letters, post cards, band it signs, etc.

You could possibly do the yellow letter thing and see if you get any hits, just remember that our market is hit very hard( especially absent owners) and you will have to spend a lot of money on marketing.

And postcards can be more vivid and professional in appearance, and easily read without opening.Letters can generate more calls per piece than postcards, but probably not a lower cost per call.
