For many active duty and veterans that want to begin investing using their VA loans, I like to ask them what the ultimate end goal is that have and how they plan on using their entitlement - from there we can work backwards to design a roadmap of optimized VA loan use.

Your reply was just as good of a roadmap as your book has been...maybe even better, as it was even more focused on a specific goal, like becoming an agent!

@Maranda TuckerThere are many variables here and the roadmap will depend on your investment strategy.For example, if you are interested in long term rentals and you are looking for $180k annual net income, you'll need 100 units averaging $150 per month of cash flow.

The best part though is they provide the roadmaps you are looking for to take your investing ABOVE your local competition.So, say you could do a set-it-and-forget-it  system that works while you are doing other investor stuff.Consumer fills out landing page form, they get a RVM, text message, email and info all automated.

You can get a road map to increasing your credit score from the three credit bureaus and by doing what they suggest, lower the interest rates that will be offered, not have to have a credit partner and not have to go the LLC route.Adding additional debt to debt that's mismanaged is a recipe for disaster. 

While you may start out holding your first property in your own hands, your up-front planning will provide you with a roadmap to ensure you do not inadvertently do something that will prohibit you from - or make it extremely expensive for you to - evolve your ownership in the future.

Hey @Christopher Juntura, You are definitely not alone, having aspirations and the will to be successful falls short of action if you don't have a roadmap on how to get there.
