The paver patio slopes towards the house by design (they put the drains a few feet in front of the house)!

This is a perfect use case for Ikea patio tiles.

When we had our granite countertop installed the installers put sticky plastic down to “protect” the floors, and when it was removed it ripped the clear coat clean off in the areas my daughter had been playing with the air pockets.

(They wanted to replace the deck in the back with a paver patio since they claimed the deck was unsafe... not true, but I'm getting a new paver patio and full asking price so we said okay). 

anything newer than 1985 I would not bother its probably plastic piping underground. older than that I would highly suggest IT.

I would probably just lay concrete slabs on top to make a partial patio as its only a rental property.

It is a smaller project, about 200 sq ft patio that only needs two sides enclosed.Thank you in advance.
