Perhaps my current firm at $6,000 is a little more suited for people with a bigger portfolio.We have 4 rentals. 

We were able to buy low in a good neighborhood since the home was in need of some work, mainly needing cosmetic work and some deferred maintenance.

While I haven't remodeled the main house, it's situated in a highly desirable neighborhood.

As i was driving through the neighborhood scoping the area out i noticed a new shiny fire department.

I am very aware on investments in SMP500 ETFS, thats where all of my money goes into, I also trade via prop firms where I do not leverage much of my own money with no debt.

New to real estate and have quickly zeroed in on using the BRRRR strategy in great areas, one of which I have identified as New Haven (East Rock or Westville neighborhoods).

That's most likely going to be a C- neighborhood or lower so there could be more perceived scale to BRRRR, but a tougher decision on how to renovate at that price point and possibly harder tenancies.I would get to real estate investor meetups in your area.

@Joseph Gary there are Class B Neighborhoods in Detroit and most of the Ring Cities (suburban cities touching Detroit) are now Class B.We've got it all mapped out @ our website.DM us if you'd like to discuss more:)
