I'm looking around Lake Wallenpaupack as well currently. 

The Great Lakes > empty lakes in the southwest region.   

It's a few miles north and has lakes, bike trails, golf, etc.

Hi all, I bought a townhouse/condo in Salt Lake City, Utah and I am planning on doing long-term rental with it.

We have one lake house and we have a CPA.

I worked Northern Lake County Mendocino county and  little bit in Humbolt ( Honeydew area) I think as we age out as investors we start to appreciate cash and smaller debt positions.

I think it's about $2500 now to connect here, on Lake Norman. ( Considering how high the property taxes are you'd think the connection fee would be more reasonable. )  

I wanted somewhere close to Nor Cal but much more friendly tenant/landlord laws, 4th lowest property taxes in the Nation, rent growth, job growth, population growth, strong appreciation, limited land, close to Lake Tahoe, etc. 

Zoned to "sought after" Katy ISD and Seven Lakes High school (one of the top in the state & country, so I am told) in Cinco Ranch. 

I like looking at the lake in my backyard too much to want to eat time chasing default business owners who owe money.
