Our plan to convert an unfinished space to 3 family came to fruition in 2023, and we are working to convert one of the three bedroom units into two 1-bedroom units with lofts, using the high attic space in the original Victorian structure.

Our office is right on yale st, has a large victorian home we use as the house buying office and a 4 units adjacent to the house on the same property. 1 is the office for our construction company, 1 is a 800sf long term tenant paying $1600, 1 is a 150sf closet that i get $700mo for and the last unit is a 800sf airbnb.

Like you I grew up in upstate NY (up on Lake Erie) and I remember back in the early 1980s swapping out old wooden screens and storm windows from the out on my parents circa 1900 victorian home.
