It’s a good thing we decided to buy used - a recent [evicted] tenant stole them, as well as curtains & rods & left it with the worst infestation of German roaches we’d ever seen! 

Any guarantees and stuff like that are, as my grandpa used to say in German "Jewelry on the night-gown".

A lot of these items are in decent shape and we could write off for taxes, but there are definitely German roaches in the property.

But when I bought my first duplex in a great neighborhood the upstairs tenant had a German Shepard.
