In California, it really does not make any sense for an investor to get their license.

I don't know what market you are looking in, but in California that would mean solar panels, rain barrels, fire sprinklers, etc.

How will you get a broker's license, which I believe California requires of PMCs?

CA  the war and the Earthquake and the market being very poor in N Ca as a result.

Also do you help out with the accounting of a STR in CA?

I am definitely a 2nd Amendment supporter, but concealed carry is rare here in CA, and I can't say I operate in areas where fear of violent crime is high enough that I would feel a need to be carrying.

It's a little more complicated in CA, even though my properties are not in CA, and the LLC is not from CA, this bloodsucking state still requires an extortion fee of $800 per LLC. 

There have been multiple legal challenges to this position of the FTB (California tax department, or Franchise Tax Board), but I don't believe any CA resident won such a fight.
