Certain areas are far more likely to have angry neighbors lobbying the city or county for changes than other areas, and that would color my decision.

Even though our wood was gorgeous, I decided to paint our doors and staircase (combo of sanding/staining the treads and painting the balusters & handrail) because I felt leaving them the original darker color would have completely dated the house.

I suspect they were not able to find the same exact color doors to replace, so they want to replace the entire cabinets and charge me for it.

While gray colors are the fad I personally hate gray in an apartment. 

With the understanding tenants have to pick a reasonable color, no hot pink. 

I called the tenant and the tenant told me he never opened the garage door since I told him about the complaint and he thought he saw someone peeking in the windows near the top of his garage door.I received a complaint from the HOA because during the Christmas season a tenant hung some type of ornament on the wall beside their door and the HOA sent a complaint saying the color of the ornament did not comply with the HOA's guidelines.I received complaints because some tenants are from another state and they did not have Nevada license plates.The worse part about the HOA's is when you want to use the gym or swimming pool.

@Alex MondragonYour generic protected classes that you can't discriminate against are as follows. race, color, religion, sex/gender, national origin, and handicap. 

Typically you'd allow them to paint the walls a color that takes only 1 coat of paint to return to its original color. 

I do not think many people have vision so most would see the color of the walls and clowns and be done so great job getting past it. wondering how much you left on the table by not having the clowns stay though?
