I've got a demanding full-time job at a startup and am burning the midnight oil listening to BP podcasts, scouring Redfin and Zillow and talking to anyone who knows anything about the Los Angeles market.

I'm starting a land development company.....I like to play big and send the fearful home ::-) just stared mid summer landed a build to suit deal...working on that as for owner fiance offered for my start up...and the other 10 acres.

We provide these loans to be used for the acquisition, start-ups, refinance, rehabilitation and equity cash out of investment, equity investments, commercial properties, property development and real estate.For personal loans, small business loans and start-ups, We offer credit of up to $500,000.00 at the interest rate of 5%.

@Carra Stokes real estate is not like a startup business in that way you don't get people to give you money for a share of a company because there is nothing proprietary. 

I'm also hoping to get another property before the end of the year that won't have much time to bring in any income but will need the same outfitting.Going through this with the tax advisor last week, he strongly urged me to consider just carrying the losses forward, if I even had any, since they would be small compared to the cost of an audit and a one-time artifact of the startup processes.  

I have had a really interesting career and have worked for 3 startups, started 3 of my own companies, worked for US Govt (NASA) and for several major corporations.

Work in startups, but hopefully real estate becoming my next side hustle. 

Best thing to assess is if you want to spend the time, and take the risks, in a startup (active real estate investing). 

Their BELOC product does offer a huge percentage savings (4% fixed at the time) vs an SBA loan (prime +~2%), less personal collateral, and interest only options, which is why I wanted to give them a try for this new business location start up.

Apparently RentBureau was a startup that was gobbled by Experian.Maybe over the long run this will turn out to be an extremely valuable tool for landlords, but I think it is just too soon . . .
