So long as people trust and understand the ability of the Federal Reserve to mint new dollars and the US gov't to defend them more than they trust blockchains to do the same, people will continue to think in terms of dollars, and Crypto will continue to be to volatile and speculative to pay rent or buy a property.It will take a generation or longer for crypto to become our collective finance method of choice, if it goes that way.If I were a landlord, I WOULD NOT accept payments in crypto, no matter how convenient my twenty-something-year-old tenants might think it is.

I think the honesty was the best choice because we explained to them how we came up with our offer price and really helped them through the selling process.However, like I mentioned I know other investors who use a DBA (a ficticous business name).

For me, I keep my debt load low (by buying using Subject To instead of using banks), I make sure each of my properties cash flow above average ($500 or more positive cash flow per month) and that they will still be a good choice if the rents drop (which I think for the foreseeable future they will continue going up).
