Hi, Im looking for any advice on going all in on investing passively with my IRA on a syndication.

The only other approach I can think of is to do the flip inside of a self-directed IRA.

I am trying to figure the best way to fund the investment - either cash or through cash in a self directed (traditional, not Roth) IRA I am setting up.

A self directed IRA for example can invest in real estate.

I'm a newbie wondering if I find a private lender willing to use their IRA to help fund a deal, are there any penalties or drawbacks for withdrawing that money from the IRA?
