David Moore Four Applicants, Two Credit Worthy

One has a great credit score, one has a rich father (Doctor) who pays his rent no matter what, and two have zero credit history, and both have erratic or very recent job hires.I've already rejected one of the four due to no credit history and too short of job history, and the fact that the guy doesn't respond when I asked for follow up info.

Kristine Marie PoeThe landlord doesn't need a translator so much as an interpreter (someone like Marcia) to facilitate communication with the prospective tenants.Here, while we are required to provide our lease and documentation only in English or French (the official languages), we cannot reject a candidate simple because s/he does not have a fluent command of either language.

Here in SF tenants are legally allowed to sublease to anyone per the landlord's written approval(no matter what you say in the lease) and the lack of creditworthiness is not an allowed reason to reject a sub-tenant.

Applicants are a dime a dozen you just keep looking till you find the one without red flags.When I screen applicants I do it with the goal of finding reasons to reject their application.
