I have heard lot people put property's into an LLC for protection from lawsuit but they have multiple properties 5+.  

The location definitely was obvious, at least to me.I’ve hosted monthly meetups in my area of Mesa, Arizona for around 7 years now and the majority of people that attended came from BiggerPockets.

@Jagan ReddyI'm not a CPA or a cost segregation specialist, but I do know that if you are not designated as a  real estate professional, then you can only offset passive income by your passive losses.Qualifying as a real estate professional is more challenging than most people want you to think.

I know Branson is known for golf and Table Rock Lake and people tend to snatch up those condos that come with the amenities but I feel like rentals would be limited to good weather only..there has to be a solid percentage of tourists that enjoy the shows and being in town as much as there are people that enjoy the lake and golfing.  

Don't trust a company - especially not some large nationwide corporation, which employs people you have to track down!

This can be confusing to people who will inevitably say, "Why did my taxes jump by thousands of dollars!?"

There are basically 3 types, overnights (catering to RV's traveling along interstates), destination (resort style parks that people vacation at) or long term.
