How long is your training? 

So here I am, sold my other companies to take this on FT, laying groundwork for an agent training and certification course so hopefully, someday, there won't be that question anymore of "how do I find a REI Realtor". 

It might help to think of a few different categories:legal/land: encroachments, zoning issues, codes, neighborhoodphysical plant: wiring, roofs, HVAC systems, septic, gutters, deferred maintenance, lead, foundationsfinancials: tax changes, assessments, insurabilitytenants: arrears, deposits, ongoing disputesMy votes for most overlooked?

Military provides so much including a solid financial base to your life, besides all the training and life experiences.  

I am very much against taking high cost classes from "gurus", but in this case, is there some training out there that cuts out the BS and would be very beneficial to invest in?

For the 203k, you definitely want to use a contractor who has 203k experience, has been properly educated on the 203k, knows the FHA 203k guidelines, paperwork, processes, procedures, payment structure, and has strong financials to support the startup costs and ongoing expenses.

Anecdotally, most companies don’t have the infrastructure or the desire to allow people to continue working remotely indefinitely for a multitude of reasons (i.e. training new employees, collaborative team efforts on new initiatives, company culture, supervision, etc.).

Train is available always but also takes 2.5 hours and good luck getting around anywhere but Manhattan on Public transport.My plan is to buy a few more in the Hudson Valley and then eventually migrate down towards NYC to buy a larger multi family.
