Story as follows:I had a tenant who was constantly late on rent who I filed eviction notices for on more than a few occasions. he always came through at the very last minute.

Check your lease, but it sounds like the owner is giving appropriate notice about terminating the lease, and the requests for access.You absolutely should get your secuirty deposit back, unless there are damages that are subtracted from it.
