When people talk about the cost per square foot to build a house it is typically 250 or I think 200 in my area (Boston suburbs) My question is- when people throw around this “generic” number, does this typically include the cost of hiring a gc to build the project?

If you have a place to do so at no cost to you, charge them the costs for removing and transporting in both directions. they may be long term tenants if they're that committed to their own appliances, so if in your shoes I'd try and work it out
