@Isaac IslasIf he is not a citizen, he may need to apply for an ITIN before being able to purchase properties in the United States.There are many unique tax laws to consider when foreigners buy US Real Estate(ECI, FDAP, FIRPTA, etc).

So unless there is really something unique this person brings to the table that you can capitalize on, I would pass.
