According to the IRS, if you have a Roth 401K retirement account, you must take required minimum distributions no later than April 1 of the year after the calendar year in which you reach age 70 1/2, unless still working and not a 5% owner. 1.

So I'm trying to torture you, guys, for the information :oops: :D And I did pay cash for the house and I do not have any mortgage.But I have some other serious expenses - like my elderly mother from abroad with no retirement who lives on her own in another house.I had to invest the money so I could support my mother and I decided buying a rental was the best deal.Time will tell.

Maybe they raise the full retirement age again a couple years for people retiring into the future.
