I'm finding some listings on a popular realtor mls listing site (not sure if I'm allowed to say which one here) that have a box on the listing which states "Assumable Mortgage" and has a "learn how" button, when I click on the button it says: "This home has an assumable mortgage" and it lists the current average interest interest rate for April 2024 (7.00) for a new loan vs.

Thanks, Gary Neely Gary, Just use you standard state contract and write out the terms of your seller financing in an addendum or on the OTP itself if there's lines for additional provisions.Be clear and concise.Example,Seller will carry a promissory note secured by a 1st position mortgage in the amount $97,583.00, at 6% interest, amortized over 30 years, witha a maturity date and balloon payment due 10 years after the closing date.Hope this helps and certainly get an attorney involved if you are not comfortable drafting the language.

on the bleachers right now just learning so i got a question If I find a duplex for 350k, put 20% down , 30 year mortgage after the 30 years is over and the property is paid off, it cost me more than 700k that just doesn't sit right in my stomach.
