Would I need to fly out or hire someone?

As long as the amount is less than 10% of the purchase price of the property and as long as it is for something that would normally be considered to be part of the house (roof, hvac, etc) then I've seen that fly.

t ton of money on your soma condo via appreciation, and now you want to trade that in for fly over state RE with low/no appreciation potential, and a ‘potential’ for some cash flow, if you can manage an out of state prop without getting ripped off, plus avoid a crap location (which you won’t know until you own there, because out of state vendors just love Bay Area exchange money)?

I would like to approach the subject of seller financing with her as a possibility of buying the property but I am not sure of how to go about this.The property is located in Sonoma County, after the fall fires we have a severe lack of inventory and houses are flying off the market far over asking price.

Pretty much fly solo and do other stuff like flip houses to stay busy.

I could work with a skilled handyman, or current superintendant at another location.I can fly out there to meet the team, and get things set up, but I need to have something in place before I touch down.
