Purchasing our first home was an eye opening process for us and our family.Instead of spending hours of my life mindlessly scrolling through posts from "influencers" on instagram or other forms of social media during the COVID-19 Pandemic, I decided to pick up some books and look into other ways of making money outside of my income from the military.

Now, after courts being closed for so long, and perhaps considering social distancing guidelines after they open, it might go for months more.

It's a great article, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to the mass atroturfing campaign against landlords that's now being pumped on a regular basis across social media, Reddit, YouTube and every mainstream fauxgressive rag and media outlet around the country and the globe.

So I was thinking about applying that same mentality to this situation, and find creative means to press-forward when so many of my competitors are likely stopping or halting, due to the pandemic.From a safety perspective, to emphasize social distancing, I was going to propose that either the current owners do a video walkthrough via a live video call with us, or that they let us get the keys to allow us to do the walkthrough alone. 

We have also spent $ on social media platforms.   

I am lucky, my tenants are either getting Social Security, have jobs that are classed as essential, or have jobs that are needed so much that they have been managing to work despite not actually being essential.

Or more specifically, surrounding suburbs with good schools like Lafayette?Is Oakland not comparable to these suburbs?What licenses does the contractor need? Could I use workers from out of state? Does everything have...

Look at the differences such as turning rental income into ordinary income you pay an extra 15% in Medicare and social security etc.

You need to make sure your goals, values, mission all align.

Do you think that there is still room for using social media, and having a personal website to generate leads?
