They have yet to come gather their belongings which consists of cloths, misc stuff, furniture and 2 vehicles in the garage.

The battery one will be replaced, but I am guessing at my cost as I can not prove they did it intentionally, even though they definitely did smoke in the property, and a lot to use up a ten year battery in 5 months.I kind of feel like way back when I was a teen, decades ago, the insurance company would give you $100 to $300 if someone else damaged your vehicle with a big scratch, because it was not worth fixing, there was a consequence, but maybe not now for rentals that get these types of damages.Usually I just do not go after these type of damages, but for these people I will. 

No one advertises this any more because I'd say 95-99% of all vehicles sold in the US now have these features, maybe excluding a few fleet trucks.

You can also go get a small loan on a vehicle or something from a place that does payments for a stove or refridgerator, etc. 

Then you supplement it with investments as most of us do  and in whatever investment vehicle you choose to do..

They have even used crypto as a vehicle to collect payment and store wealth.

How are unregistered vehicles handled?  

I didn't even factor in the second vehicle + gas because the house is a small commute.
