There was a 23M project funded and completed by EPA 20 years ago, and the remediation was successful per follow up inspections by the EPA.I have to be honest- that scares me, as this would be my first rental investment.has anyone else had this issue, and should i be concerned? 

If you're a buyer you want to check title and the condition of the house through a property inspection. 

I am thinking I should go over to inspect the paint job and hear the tenants out in regard to their complaint, listening specifically for evidence that would back up their claims of violation of privacy.

With hud unless you're an owner occupant you will probably lose your earnest money if you back out due to inspection issues.

All was well when it was viewed, inspected and appraised.

I attended the inspection and John agreed to fix each and every item the inspector pointed out.

Well I have a 3rd interview tomorrow for the home inspection job.  

I have nightmares about driving down the street, in my rental car, after flying for 5 hours, going to inspect my vacant house and seeing sign after sign saying For Rent, For Rent, Motivated Landlord, First Month Free.

Would that be something that would come up during the inspection process you will have to go through to get that FHA?
