Some day I'll tell you about mine, when I hired one to manage my house when I moved across country..... that one did end up in foreclosure.And still this woman tricked me!  

It's unfortunate, but it seems like every wo/man has to learn his/her own lesson. 

Just remember we live in a country where a woman can sue McDonalds and win because she spilled hot coffee in her lap.

USPS priority mail is great, because the mailman/woman simply scans it when they deliver it and you have proof of delivery you can print out online.  

We had previously purchased 2 and 1/3 buildings in Bolivia, and 2 houses by the university of MN , I am a Bolivian woman with broken English,  my husband is a son of a SD farmer, so is a Jack of all trades. 

Our tenant is a 61 year old woman, and lives in the bottom unit. 

We were renting a cute but run-down cabin on a creek in WA. 

It would be reasonable for a single woman to not want male roommates, or a Muslim may not want to room with a Jew.

Kindness and humility and coffee and donuts and cute outfits always help.
