Tenant Wants Payment for Couch/Sofa
Tenant placed couch/sofa near wall heater. The tenant now claims the heater melted part of the couch. Any thoughts?

Did they call their renters insurance? Sounds like user error to me.
If they put the cell phone near the sink and it got wet from them using the sink, woudl you pay for that ? They need to care for their personal items while in your property. But if they think someone should be responsible, they should have renters insurance and ask if they cover it.
