So naturally, the competitive forces will lead the better and more accommodating properties to succeed while the older or more outdated properties will need to renovate or offer something unique to entice travelers.Both of my properties are about 23 years old and mostly original design on the interior.

This is the second most enticing thing to sellers next to waiving the inspection entirely, so it's worth a shot.Good luck!

Risk was low in this scenario with my promotional interest rate at 1.5% (not as easy to come across now), but just consider the cost of money if you do it that way. 

The low purchase prices are also very enticing as I may be able to start with 3 properties instead of 1 or 2 locally.
