If all the money is in the markup, why not just deal mobile homes?

She opened a self-directed IRA with about 85K and used it to help my sister and her husband buy a beautiful mobile home with land and my mother carried the mortgage.

Being in the mobile home market, things are a little different, but what actually works in this market is a sign in the window and word of mouth advertising.

Title company (also owned by HUBZU - Premium Title) - did not get the closing package to the mobile closer (title co in GA - we in IN) - til 1:35pm. 

Some answers I've found are: It's conditioning (the way they were raised) - it's fear (I don't what to have to fix something when it breaks) - it's mobility (I don't want to be tied down) - it's ignorance (they don't realize that it's cheaper to buy and pay a mortgage than it is to rent).

Foremost is the largest mobile home insurer, but there are others that insure as well.If getting quotes, do the same as other professions and call all the agents you're interested in working with and ask them to quote it for you.The biggest take-away from this thread/comment is that there are few agents (area depending) that know anything about insuring mobile homes.

I had a really tough decision between Retirement by Jeff Brown who I have admired for years and the Mobile Homes by John Fedro which I just recently got more interested in.

(SFH, multi units, condos, town homes)However, I do not know how to analyze & assess a mobile home's value.
