Given that, I would like to join a brokerage where I can be focused on multifamily properties for investing myself and possibly sometime in the future help other investors.  

Once you research your investing market - join the Investor groups on Facebook for those locales to easily connect to wholesalers in the area, realtors, other referrals etc.
