The challenge is, a bust is basically a boom in reverse.  

People bought tons of STRs for years and BOOM a few years ago it became so highly restricted owners were forced to quit renting out for short term and forced to do long term. 

They over paid in bidding wars, thought that the Covid boom of bookings were normal and were only cashflowing because of that.

It is my understanding Texas has been enjoying another great oil and gas boom for a number of years.

This rules out Detroit and Vegas.While the city of Detroit is a mess, the suburbs are booming.

We decided to move into our flip and ride out the messy market and rent out the two doors we now had just a few blocks from a booming college.

This is always important to keep in mind though.I don't expect this area to be booming with tenants, but I am focusing on it because there has been a demand - I have been working in the area for a bit now selling mobiles in other parks  

About 3 years after investing in the property, the natural gas and oil boom moved into my area, and I was able to get a fat check from leasing my mineral rights.

We also bought a motorlodge/motel in panacea Fl that fires out cash like a cannon….BOOM!
