5th pic: Framing started All plumbing & electrical was done - WE are now sheet rocking both floors and will share some images once we are done :-)

Here is where we are: I've talked to one broker recommended here and Wells Fargo, provided the same info to both: our credit score is 800, and both of us employed for over 10 yrs.  15 yr loan of around $390k, signed contract tomorrow or Monday.  

We are in the process of moving to a new home in Buda (Hays County, 20 mins from Dripping Springs) and while we wanted to be in Dripping we couldn't make sense of it.  

We are very active in the DFW area in apt syndications if you want to start there folks can give you some ideas.  

We are planning on purchasing a rental property (our first), hopefully doing some house hacking along the way.

We are hardly in the same situation today, but lending standards are loosening up.

There is a garage apartment with this house and we are rehabbing it right now.

It sounds like we are rather similar regarding being the big picture vision caster and our wife being the detail perfectionist and I'd honestly say that's PERFECT!
