Would you recommend something like Umbrella insurance?  

Are umbrella policies the same as STR riders?

I can't find anything about Umbrella Insurance among a group of investors. 

Get an umbrella policy for yourself.At this point though, you need to determine if it's worth keeping your LLC or dissolving it.

Lenders who don't deal with investors often will kill the deal off without thinking twice.I have always just used an umbrella insurance policy for my properties.

The agreements make sense, but if I purchase solo under my name I can just get umbrella coverage for the property and be secure?

I carry a vacant home policy on each of my flips AND a 2 million dollar umbrella policy over everything I own.

Check and see if Umbrella Insurance is a good choice for your scenario as well.
