I am from Indianapolis, IN so I have been back and forth about purchasing a SFR or Multi (house-hack) for here in LA (i'm currently renting DTLA) vs. purchasing several properties back in Indy (being that I know the market well and currently own one SFR that is cash flowing and appreciating at a steady pace).

Fast forward a couple months now the work has slowed down dramatically .the main problem now is this last $33,000 draw he hasn’t hardly came at all in the last several weeks virtually non existent other than a couple guys for an hour or two and it’s really starting to get where I’m worried .the Bank approved it each time when there clearly wasn’t enough that could’ve been done on the contract i got one draw left ( I won’t sign yet obviously) I only have about 10 grand left of draw and so now I’m kind of worried because the project can’t be finished on the ten grand that’s left .

For someone that's not as conservative, or a different view on the next recession, they might have a different opinion than me on all of this2) Sponsor quality check: (takes about 45 minutes per deal)I believe that a great sponsor can take an average looking deal and make it great, and that in mediocre sponsor can take a fantastic looking deal and make it bad (especially if there is a severe recession).
