After removing the drywall and investigating, I found that there had been a slow hidden leak for some time eroding the mortar on the interior wythe of bricks, so now they can be easily removed from the wall by hand.

I wouldn't depend on others to place an individual in my rental unit until such time that I interviewed them, And if I like them, and I have had an opportunity to investigate where they presently live and if they're able to pay the rent that I have the property up for.

Some options that I'm considering and seem feasible after a bit of investigation at the city are-1-Subdivide and sell the lot (with or without entitlements)2-Create 2 new micro-lots and build 2 townhouse style homes to sell3- Subdivide and build a duplex to hold (no rent control on new construction = big plus in Oakland)4-Subdivide and build a single family home to sellThanks in advance for any ideas!
