First time looking at investing property outside of where I live, curious to know exactly where I should invest for rental property and should I buy a multiunit?

I currently just bought my second property (a quadplex- 465k- that I am living in the basement so I was able to get owner occupant financing- doing one unit as a MTR and the other 3 long term.

They really do live up to what they say.

It is a townhome built in 2017 in a family-friendly, growing area, and it already has a tenant living there.

Alexandra,Tampa is a great place to live and its rapidly growing in terms of population and new construction.

No offense Melanie but I'd rather own 20-30 in Ohio than 5 in Cali.20-30 in Ohio and managed well is retirement.Owning 5 in an appreciating market is speculation.One can't pay the bills from speculation or appreciation unless they pull out equity.Monthly net cashflow can be lived off per se.Thanks and each to their own

This home was behind my current 3 family home (I Live in ) it was the hoarders home in a great community and I could put parking on the lot - If you Live near the Jersey Shore you need many places to park How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Lived there the past three years.

Full rehab of the home to include new primary and secondary bathrooms, installation of new island and coffee nook with granite countertops, new water resistant LVP floors throughout, new paint, crown moulding in living room & kitchen, new electric water heater, and conversion of coat closet to mud room.
