Question:Has anyone looked into starting or has started a private equity firm of their own? 

I graduated in 2018 with BBA in Finance from Georgia Southern and I currently work as an Analyst at consulting firm.

Tax planning, emergency response, etc. didn't think of those things and haven't come across much mentioning the nuances.Also, aside from asking around, reading reviews, and asking people here...how would I vet turnkey firms when I have nothing to compare it to? 

While we have yet to take the dive, the most important thing when weighing these finances is ensuring you have adequate reserves in place as well as having a firm grasp on the numbers you are looking to hit as you analyze properties. 

When applying to universities after graduation, I selected schools that offered a bachelor of commerce with specialization in real estate.The idea I have with this is that I would earn my bachelor's degree, work with a development firm in my area to learn the ropes of real estate more, and slowly transition myself into investing and developing independently, based off the experience and knowledge I gained from the firm. 

I just saw an estimate the other day that there's well over $300 Billion sitting in cash in private equity real estate firms waiting out a correction.
