Every episode goes like this: 1) Owner/seller brings something interesting into the pawnshop for quick sale & cash2) Rick, somehow knows and expert that can tell all of them what it is worth3) Expert tells everyone the item is worth $x4) Rick turns around and tell the owner/seller he can only pay $x-profit for the item5) Owner/seller usually, but not always ACCEPTS LESS THAN WHAT ITEM IS WORTH!

The periodic inspections can be the benchmark for when the contractor gets paid and knows it gets done right.I can't think of any better way than having a great home inspector on your team, and I'm surprised that it wasn't mentioned in the episode.
