What are questions I need to ask to find out if this is a worthwhile deal?

That's really what determines whether the investment is worthwhile anyways, work ethic. 

I drove for dollar in South Orange NJ, and got a couple of addresses worthwhile researching further and sending direct mail to, however the owner's information is not online, I called the city and they informed me that I can call them for tax info on a particular address but they can't give out the owner's information.Any idea how to look up the owner's name and mailing address info in that case?

Probably not, I'm really in no need to chase some property unless you have somrthing worthwhile, which would be over a hunderd grand or 30% ROI, I'm really lazy now and just don't get motivated by the small stuff, thanks for asking. might try the bushes at Will Barnard, J.

If signed into law it just does not allow low income tenants to be put out from dec 31-march 31  - they are also looking into rental assistance programs etc  As always high appreciation areas make it worthwhile to deal with some of these tenant friendly policies  and I am very sure the RE industry is working hard to make this as “landlord friendly” as possible 

I personally believe that being part of a community, knowing my neighbors, and creating a bedrock for others to anchor upon is a worthwhile endeavor.

If this was on loopnet.... very slim chance it's a worthwhile deal.

I have read every book mentioned in this thread, and they were all worthwhile.

No matter how much you try to explain it to people, some would rather just shut their brain off and not challenge every decision they've made, rather than admit that what you're doing or trying to do might be worth while.

I want to have time to dedicate to whichever worthwhile cause is most important to me at the time.
