If you’re going for cashflow, that’s pretty tough to beat but if you’re trying to buy a house a year for 15 years and put them on a 15-year fixed am schedule and have a paid off house every year after 15 for retirement purposes, then it would be a no-go (for example).Also, depends on the work you want to do.

We’re getting so many nomad-worker tech-bro types moving here that medium-term furnished “executive” rentals in prime locations can fetch up to $30k/month (needs to be in a blue-chip location with super high-end luxury finishes/appliances/features obviously to rent for that much, and it’s seasonal, but still, it’s crazy).

In order to accurately analyze a property you will need to know the size and number of beds and baths as well as what all needs to be done which is tough without being inside the house.

Most of the old warehouses vacant and for sale for $1 around here are really tough locations so spending millions to upgrade an old building to be in a C or D class area is not that enticing.My family used to own a large warehouse for dry ice production and distribution as the neighborhood turned to crap between the 1950's and 1980's they moved into a bigger building in a nicer part of town.
