It’s basic electoral math to assume that removing the income tax deductibility above 10k is primarily only an all blue state phenomena (not considering that limit combined with property taxes).

@Don Daniels Yes, you will want to research "blue-sky laws" in your jurisdiction.

There is nothing like flying into SJU airport and seeing the blue roofs of the Ritz and being 5 minutes from the beach and the apartment.
