Also you are not allowed to receive any personal benefits from your retirement account until distribution.Lending to your 401K is clearly prohibited, using your 401K to make the investment you otherwise not able to do on your own would be considered “enabling”and as a result you personally receive benefit, which would be considered prohibited.
