If you don't have a content deliver network to show why people should come to your rural region, you might have a much more difficult time.

You might know someone in your network that is starting out, or who is exiting a latency period that could use your skills.

@Amol KulkarniRecommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.

Since this occurred, we've taken great measures firm and department wide to help smooth this process out and provide a better client experience.I appreciate you being honest, and will be reaching out to help clarify how we could have done better and to help remedy the situation.

If you yourself have invested in this type of business, I would be very interested in networking as well!

This will go a long way in creating a network and future sellers and buyers will start to see you as a resource in this arena.

Nothing wrong with investing in D/F stuff.....but you should go in eyes wide open to the risks of it.
