Hey Everyone,I just graduated college with no debt so I want to buy my first property and House Hack with college students, I found a property currently selling for $175,000 dollars, but I think It can be negotiated to a lower purchase price since it is a little outdated and the other houses in that same street have sold for less money, although it is outdated it could be rented for $550 dollars a month + utilities  and since it is a 4 bed, 2 baths; renting out the other 3 bedrooms while I live in one of them would help me break even with the house's monthly expenses.

The university areas work well with college students needing places.If you ever want to talk REI let me know looking at some options in Chicago this week and Indiana.

The population has been growing here year over year over the last decade, it is home to The Ohio State University which has over 50,000 students that live here along with those that visit, and it also holds a diverse range of young professionals and traveling nurses to fill the demand of the multiple business corporations and hospitals stationed here.

@Zachary R Beale First off if I were you I would make sure I had little to no debt except for my student loans if applicable and potentially a primary residence mortgage.

I know that area is big for professionals and professional students such as med students.

I am a 20 year old college student looking for advice on what to do in my current situation.

Urged them to make a withdrawal and pay the tax penalty because this program, training, education will change their life.

-I'd rather not go the traditional route with buying just because my W2 isn't exactly the most stable and i'm a full time college student.

I liked the area geographically and for other reasons but once I had confirmation he was renting to nurses, meds and eds, grad students, university and hospital employees with good rent numbers, I was all in.
