Personally I prefer the shower with the glass door because I feel it leads to less water leaking and therefore less floor damage and wall damage down the road due to inappropriate shower curtain usage.

There are leak detection/automatic water shutoff valves you can install that are pretty inexpensive (as opposed to repairing the damage from leaks or paying a super high water bill).

You may want to build out a handbook with some SOPs that way if simple stuff like a plumbing leak or something comes up they know who to call.
