Have you tried Truist, First Citizens,etc.

Lots of junk, too many cars parked there, etc- the tenants are friends/family of each other-estoppel agreement showed that none are US citizens.

Hello,My sister is US citizen who has been living overseas most of her life and I am helping her get into real estate.Since she has lived overseas, she has not been able to build credit.

These are typically not ordinary, honest citizens that just happened to fall on hard times and they may decide to make everyone's life miserable on the way out the door.Bottom line: proceed with great caution.

@Daniel Hawthorne I work with David Mitchell at citizens bank and her is really good for commercial loans.

We don't need drivel proposals attempting to capitalize on class envy, rather a government than can live within reasonable fiscal restraints as all private citizens must do.

Do you all believe that this is a greater trend of Houston citizens opting to purchase overall opposed to rent?

@Nikita Sharma not yet but it passed at the end of Aug just before rent was due so we'll see how Oct goes, I agree proof should be required and the legislature should not make citizens shoulder the responsibilities of others without compensation.

However I have  a few doubts:1) Is there any source geared towards non citizens on buying property that I could look into ( books, or brokers)?

I would never suggest this to the average citizen but mathematically it can make sense. 1.
