Non US , looking to purchase apartment or condo for rent

Hi everyone,

I am looking to purchase for investment either and apartment or condo in the Texas or Florida states. However I have  a few doubts:

1) Is there any source geared towards non citizens on buying property that I could look into ( books, or brokers)?
2) Would it imply extra expenses for being a non US citizen on the purchasing and owning of a property ?
